The AWS Cloud Architect will lead and implement modern IT infrastructure designs, including hybrid cloud solutions, cloud IaaS/PaaS, as well on-premises build-outs. This position requires a candidate to possess a strong business acumen along with technical depth to assist with architecture, implementation, and domain migrations for enterprise size companies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Craft detailed work plans, project scopes, and cost estimates
- Evaluate, recommend, design, and implement IT infrastructure technologies that enable and drive client success
- Assess current state client technology environments and determine business and technology requirements
- Leverage cloud and on-premises technology solutions to deliver the optimal hosting environment for a variety of services and workloads
- Develop methodology and best practices with the National Security and Infrastructure practice team
- Lead company and client project teams in a hands-on capacity to deploy and migrate modern IT infrastructure environments
- Lead and participate in practice project proposal opportunities
- Promote internal thought leadership in emerging technologies; including 3rd party partnerships, company go-to-market offerings, and collaborations with other company solution lines
- Guide and develop the careers of our Junior AWS Cloud consultants. Identify strengths and opportunities to improvement and develop strong technical consultants and leaders
